SE Olympus for 2009. Now comes the part
of "earning" it.
There are many things going on this year.
My "full plate" has now gone to a buffet and
I am simply delighted. It gives me yet
another reason to outreach, teach, share all
that I love about the Southeast!
I sincerely want to thank the community,
my friends(with late night calls) as well as
the various vendors who were all so
generous with their emotional as well as
financial support.
I would like to encourage you to support
the vendors who have so generously
after the meet n greet, interviewing with the judges,
responding to a random question by the judges, participating
in the travel fund auction basket and presenting a fantasy for
the contest attendees I was honored to receive the Ms SE
Olympus title for 2009.
My mission this year will be to reach out to the various
groups in the Southeast whether it is by providing
presentations or demos or assisting as a resource.
Following the awarding of the title there was a celebration
held at 1763 and the energy was spectacular!
There was a trip to Chatsworth for an early Halloween party
where both NLA-Atlanta and LLC were shared and what they
offer. I'm hoping to share some pictures in the near future.

thank the various vendors and individuals who
contributed to my auction basket as well as to the
individuals who bid on them!
Now for the rest of the story ... yes, there is a travel fund
however it has to go a LONG way ~ all the way to LA in
August for International Olympus Contest as well as to as many
groups and events that I have been invited to representing both
SE Olympus, our region as well all the various events and
resources we have here.
I understand the economy isn't what it used to be so I'm asking
for your support with the "Penny-a-Mile" Campaign. If you
would like to show your support clicking the penny in the
upper left hand corner to make a direct contribution to Paypal
(pay to "classycountrycloset" for "services") or email Ms Evvah
who is keeping track of those who have signed up for a penny
or more per mile or a flat monthly donation. Donation can be
made via Paypal or check.
The mileage is calculated by walking, driving or flying there
will be an email sent at the first of the month with a request to
make donations by the 15th of the month. October mileage was
333 miles.
Thank you to those already contributing and thank you to those
who will reach into their pockets for those pennies!
