Always read the posted dungeon rules and know them well enough so that you can determine if someone is not following them. The following are suggested if you become aware that a player or an observer is not following the rules:
*Advise the player or observer diplomatically that a rule is not being followed. Clearly specify the rule in consideration.
*Thank the person for their cooperation.
*If someone continues activities against the rules, give a second warning. If the offender seems to be mean or ornery, get assistance. Explain the choice is available to follow the rule or to leave.
*If there are more serious infractions such as abusing alcohol or drugs, get support from another DM. Politely but firmly escort the person away from the dungeon to the outside.
*Latex Barriers may not be disregarded, particularly if someone knows another player intimately. Even if players are married, the latex barrier must be observed because others may not know of this relationship and presume that we do not enforce the rule.
*Food is generally kept in a social area and not taken into the play space except if it is being used in the scene. Remember to select wisely the foods used in a scene because even aromas can effect those around you. Should food spill in the play space, make sure it is cleaned up by those who spilled it.
*Beverages are generally allowed in play space to remain hydrated during a scene. Should beverages spill in the play space, make sure it is cleaned up by those who spilled it.
*Observers are required to speak more softly during play time. There should be clear understanding of where observers are allowed to socialize and where they are allowed to be for watching play.
