*Judgment:  Although the DM has the final say, a poor judgment call can create
resentment on the part of the players.  Always give the benefit of the doubt to “safe,
sane, consensual”.

*Integrity:  Walk your talk.  Role model by example.

*Don’t allow a bottom to be left alone during play.  If a Top needs to break away for
some reason during a scene, ask the Top to find someone to watch the bottom in the
interim.

*Don’t be afraid to admit that you don’t know something.  Find out the answers
from someone that knows.

*Don’t take smoking or toilet breaks.  Never leave the dungeon unsupervised!  In
case of emergency, tell someone you need to leave and find a replacement to cover
your duties.

*Avoid any activity that will distract you from your duties.

*Honor your shift.  When you volunteer for a shift, you will be expected to respect
the agreement by being available at the proper time and following the rules and
etiquette accordingly.  If you cannot keep your shift for some unforeseen reason, find
a replacement and notify the coordinator.

*Learn.  If you are not certain of the duties of a DM, take some time to shadow a
DM in their duties and ask questions.
